Photos from Paradise Contest - February 2012

Upload your photos of scenes of paradise to participate in our monthly contest. The photos from the previous month will be voted on by news-press.com readers. You can vote for yourself or others.

Images to be uploaded must be 1MB or smaller and in either .JPG or .GIF format. There are several ways to accomplish this:

1. Prior to taking your photos, adjust the image quality setting of your digital camera to make sure that the image is no bigger than 1MB. Since each camera will have different procedures, you will need to review your specific owners manual for details on how to accomplish this.
2. If you have already taken a large file-size image, you can use photo editing software (usually included in bundle with your digital camera) to downsize or "compress" the image. Sample software: Iphoto, Photo Shop, ImageWell, etc.
