In May, readers of The News-Press and Bonita/Estero Life were asked to vote on a variety of categories for Bonita's Best in the eleventh annual Readers' Choice Poll. On Saturday, May 23, the Bonita's Best ballot section was published so readers could vote for their favorite professional services as well as places to shop, eat, drink and party. The ballots have been cast, the votes have been counted, and the winners and runners-up in each category are listed on the following pages.
Congratulations to this year's Bonita's Best winners and runners-up. And congratulations to Sandra Howells, the 2009 Bonita's Best reader winner. Howells won a random drawing and received $500 in gift certificates from various businesses voted Bonita's Best.
